Bridge Story: The people of Chachapoya have no place to go in the rainy season, 4 months of every year. In all directions it is dense bush and scattered small villages. All the public services they may need sit just 4 hours away on the other side of the Humabramayo River, but the Humabramayo, which flows into the larger Rio Mantaro, denies them access every year. The community of Chachapoya will do anything to gain access year-round, so now they'll build a bridge with the help of their local government and Bridges to Prosperity.
