Bridge Story: La Quinta is a small community of about 100 families, along the highway several miles from the city of Esteli. Both the highway and the unnamed stream that joins the Rio Esteli divide the community into two, and when the rainy season comes, the people on one side of the river cannot reach their crops, while those on the other side cannot reach the highway and the schools.
