Bridge Story: During the totalitarian Derg Regime in the 1980's, over 100 families were forcefully relocated to inaccessible land on the other side of the Keleta River. To redress this situation, and to assist these forgotten people in gaining access to markets, schools, and clinics, a crossing is being built. With the new crossing, additional lands will be opened up on the other side of the river, thereby adding additional vibrancy to this previously isolated community.
