Wendy is a native of Newport News, VA and a graduate of Wheaton College in Norton, MA, where she received a BA with honors in Psychology and Government. In college, Wendy studied under a protégée of B.F. Skinner, the famous behaviorist and became involved with the understanding of autism. After college, Wendy moved to La Jolla, California and she opened group homes for autistic children. In 1981 Wendy moved to Raleigh, NC where she began working for Drucker & Falk, her families Property Management and Real Estate company.
In 1994 Wendy and her husband relocated from Raleigh to Newport News, so that Wendy could work at Drucker & Falk’s headquarters. Today as Co-CEO of Drucker & Falk, Wendy is not only involved with the operations of the firm and planning the firm’s future, she is also involved in new business development and the renovation of older properties.
Wendy serves on many boards and is very involved in serving the Hampton Roads community. She currently serves as Vice Chair for the Hampton Roads Partnership, is Finance Chair for the Civic Leadership Institute, assists with Friends of the Homeless as needed, is Chair of the Development Committee for Hampton Roads Academy, is Chair of Drucker & Falk’s Relay for Life team and is on the Sun Trust Bank board. Wendy and her husband Mike have two children Evan and Nicole (twins), a Boston Terrier (Bogey) and a hamster (Oreo).
