Robyn is a native of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Washington State, specifically. She was transplanted to Virginia in 2005 with her husband, Brian, and two children, Carter 12 years and Allyson 10 years.
She is a graduate of Washington State University with a BS in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a focus in Institutional Food Service. Robyn started her career in restaurant management with General Mill’s Olive Garden Restaurants and then expanded into catering sales and event planning with Red Lion Hotels in Portland, Oregon. Prior to leaving the Northwest, she worked as the Director of Training for a small NW based restaurant, The Holland/Burgerville Inc..
Once settled in Virginia, Robyn concentrated on being a “hockey mom” and a “soccer mom” and stayed very busy taking care of two young children. In 2007, she got her feet wet again, working outside the home for Professional Training Associates, ltd., coordinating continuing education seminars for the Mental Heath Professionals.
Robyn is very involved with her children’s school as a PTA Board Member and assisting in the classroom. She also enjoys volunteering in her community as a Committee Chair for “Cooking for Life”, a local fundraising auction for the American Cancer Society.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, skiing, diving, reading, and traveling with her family. She is thrilled to be a part of the Bridges to Prosperity family.
