Milosz Reterski
Program Manager, Nicaragua

Milosz ReterskiMilosz Reterski is a native of Katowice, Poland, and he grew up in Boston, Massachusetts and Palm Beach, Florida.

Milosz worked his way through college as a commercial fisherman and bicycle messenger, and graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from the Massachusetts College of Art. After college, he realized he wasn't too keen on a career spent in an air-conditioned office, and he enlisted in the United States Navy to pursue his lifelong dream of being a sailor on the high seas. Milosz learned photography, and spent five years traveling the world as a Navy photojournalist.

While in the Navy, Milosz worked with Bridges to Prosperity's Director of Information & Media Services, Steve Lanning and was offered a project photographing Bridges To Prosperity's suspension bridge with Ross Construction in La Burrera, Honduras. In the summer on 2008, Ken Frantz offered him a Construction Manager position in Peru, and Milosz spent two months criss-crossing the Andes, working on three bridge sites. In January 2009, Milosz joined the Bridges To Prosperity team as the El Salvador Country Director to start a year-long bridge building program. Click here to see his pictures.
