Jenna Kusmierek

Jenna Kusmierek has been involved with Bridges to Prosperity since 2006 and has been on the Board of Directors since 2009. She is the development committee chair and creative director for the organizations re-brand and website re-development.

Jenna is the owner and lead designer of JMK Design Studio, a marketing and web design firm, located in Denver, CO. Her firm works primarily with small business, start-ups, and non-profits. Industry specialty includes structural engineering, environmental engineering, architecture, financial services, and technology. Services include website design, print production, branding and identity, digital illustration, email marketing, animation for architectural and engineering applications, 3-D modeling, and photography.

Jenna obtained a masters degree in architecture at the University of Colorado Denver, a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of Iowa. At the University of Colorado Denver she worked as a teaching assistant for the upper and lower structural design courses. Jenna also has three years of experience working as a structural engineer specializing in storefront and curtainwall engineering. While at the University of Iowa, she was employed at IIHR – Hydroscience & Engineering and worked as a teaching assistant, research assistant, and web developer.

Bridges To Prosperity is a volunteer based charity that seeks to empower poor African, Asian and South American rural communities through footbridge building, thereby advancing personal responsibility, community public works, economic prosperity, and access to schools, clinics, jobs, and markets.
