Hardik Doshi
Hardik Doshi is from Chicago, Illinois. He was born in India and spent most of his childhood in Muscat, Oman before moving to USA in 2000. He attended University of Illinois at Chicago where he received his BS in Civil and Materials Engineering in 2009. Hardik participated and served as the co-captain of the ASCE Steel Bridge team at UIC for two years. He also worked as a research assistant at the UIC Structural and Concrete Materials Laboratory where he assisted PHD students in studying the effects of carbon fiber reinforcement to rehabilitate cracked/damaged concrete beams used in bridges. Hardik enjoys playing basketball and cricket. While enrolled at University of Illinois he also worked as the basketball manager for the Men’s Basketball Team. After graduating, he went on to work as a field engineer in Dallas for a light rail construction project which will eventually connect Dallas to DFW international Airport. He worked in the Structures Group responsible for building all bridges in the project. Hardik joined Bridges to Prosperity in July 2011 to pursue his passion for bridge building and serving the community. |
