Greg BlackGreg Black is from South Kingstown, RI. He attended Lafayette College in Easton, PA, where he received a BS degree in Civil Engineering in 2007 and an AB degree in International Studies in 2008. While enrolled at Lafayette, Greg studied abroad for a semester in Brussels, Belgium and worked in a homeless support center in Bilbao, Spain. He also played ultimate for Lafayette's club team.

In 2010, Greg graduated from the University of Delaware with a Masters degree in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration. His graduate research was in risk analysis for wood frame buildings in earthquakes.

Greg started as a volunteer with Bridges to Prosperity in September 2010. He traveled around Central America for two months to work on projects in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. He enjoyed the work and reenlisted as an intern with B2P in December 2010.

Mission Statement. Bridges To Prosperity is a volunteer based charity that seeks to empower poor African, Asian and South American rural communities through footbridge building, thereby advancing personal responsibility, community public works, economic prosperity, and access to schools, clinics, jobs, and markets.
